Hotel Near Wyoming Frontier Museum & Yellowstone

Stay at the Finest of Rawlins Hotels Near I-80

Here's a bit of trivia for travelers: our town actually got it's name from a much-needed drink! Back when the first transcontinental railroad was being planned through our area, an Army general protecting the surveyors raised a powerful thirst and sent scouts to seek a clean source of water. After they located a natural spring nearby, the general (named John A. Rawlins) enjoyed the water so much he expressed a desire to have such a spring named after him.
